La teología hecha por la mujer en América Latina y el Caribe, aunque nacida en el surco abierto por las teologías europeas y norteamericanas, tuvo también cuna@ propia. Ella surgió en el mismo momento en que despierta en estas tierras el gran sujeto histórico de los pobres.
La sistematización de toda la riqueza vivida y experimentada, elaborada y producida por esa teología hecha por las mujeres en América Latina y el Caribe durante estos últimos veinte años, se encontraba, sin embargo, dispersa.
Recogiendo con gran precisión y rigor, pero también con creatividad y estilos propias, con pasión y sensibilidad y estilos propios, con pasión y sensibilidad, lo mucho que se ha producido, el presente trabajo de María Pilar Aquino representa el primer esfuerzo en el plano y las líneas maestras de este sentir, de este pensar y de este quehacer.
