The Cry of my people sounds an alert, uttering a cry of the heart that calls for responsive openness, discernment and self-searching. It challenges Noth American Christians to understand the social, economic and political realities of Latin America- often in relation to North American involvement- and the perspectives, sensitivities and theological and political motivations of many Christians in that populous religion.
