Bishop Tuell discusses the structure and organization of the church, presents a rationale for the structure, and comments on its strenghts and weakness. Throughout the book is the interviewing idea that The United Methodist Church is much more than an organization. Having started out as what might be termed today "small groups", it has grown into a worldwide denomination, yet it still maintains its early enthusiasm and dedication for spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ both in terms of personal faith and active involvement with mankind.
